SPRING 2020 School Holiday Fun in Byron Bay and Beyond!

I can’t quite figure out if I feel like the school holidays have come around really quickly or seem to have taken an age to arrive. On the one hand, it’s felt like forever since we’ve had a holiday – but that’s probably because we’ve not really been able to travel given the current situation. Yet here I am writing about some of the fantastic activities and events local businesses are putting on for kids and families… and considering last school holidays there was barely anything – it feels like Christmas with so much happening (albeit with COVID restrictions in place – spots are limited).

So without further ado, let’s have a look at the fun stuff!!

My son recently picked up a pair of rollerblades when we went hunting for an outfit for Book Week at school. He has been practising heaps and slowly getting the hang of it. This brought back memories from when I grew up.  I used to enjoy going roller skating with my friends on Saturday afternoons.  I was having a look around where we might be able to go and I came across Rollerworld in Lismore.

Whether you are a rollerskater (like me) or a rollerblader (like my son) Lismore Rollerworld has you covered!   We are so excited to be taking our first trip there this school holidays – I can’t wait to see how we go! Good fun for all the family – book a 2 hour session from only $10pp.

If your child is feeling creative, there are some awesome sessions which have been added to our What’s On Guide – some of which are FREE.
