Carers & Kids Supported Inclusive Playgroup – Goonellabah

This delightful playgroup is designed to assist carers and children from 0 – 3years, however, children up to school age are accepted to attend.
Morning tea will be provided, along with guest speakers from time to time.
There will be a variety of activities that align with Northern Rivers Community Gateway (NRCG) objectives to:
- Support engagement of children 0-3yrs in an early year’s education program that provides culturally and developmentally appropriate activities
- Support access to a preschool setting with an approved early childhood education and care service who are ready to transition to these preschool settings who are 4 yrs of age or
- Promote the importance of early childhood education to carers and communities through the provision of information for early childhood education, including culturally inclusive resources.
The playgroup is designed to support:
- Children with disabilities or additional needs
- First Nations children
- Children from low-income families
- Children form a culturally or linguistically diverse background
- Children who are at risk of significant harm (from a child protection perspective)
- Children for socially isolated families
