Playtime Playgroup offered by the Mullumbimby Uniting Church is run every Wednesday by church volunteers from 9.00am to 11.30am during NSW term-time. It is located on the corner of Dalley and Whian Streets and parking spots are available in front and along the side of the building.

It takes place in large hall to the left of the church and the volunteers set up the room with a large assortment of toys and activities for the children. 

There is an enclosed outdoor garden area at the front dotted with park benches and a shady pergola around the building.

The playgroup requests a gold coin donation per session but there are no joining fees and you can attend when it suits you.

Alstonville - Baby Time at The Library

Alstonville Library has temporarily relocated to Wollongbar Hall .
Construction of the new Alstonville Cultural Centre is expected to commence from early May 2026, with completion anticipated in mid-2027, subject to weather and construction conditions.
Baby Time is a 20-30 minute free event (no booking required) designed to introduce your baby, to the joy of sharing the rhythm and rhyme of nursery rhymes, finger plays, poems and songs.

This session is suitable for little ones aged 0-18 months

Tintenbar Playgroup

Tintenbar playgroup is a volunteer based group that meets at Tintenbar Hall Wednesdays 9:30 - 11:30am  during NSW School terms.

They  create a fun and relaxing environment for parents and children and it is a great place for children to expand their social skills, make new friends and play in the beautiful hall with an open grassed area.

Parents can help themselves to tea and coffee provided and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

It's just $3 per session | Playgroup NSW Membership (free to join) is also required.

To borrow toys, a family must become a member of the toy library at a cost of $40 per year and membership renewal fees are due on the anniversary of the initial joining date.

As a not-for-profit charity, every dollar raised helps us nurture creative, confident, and healthy kids.

Your support directly funds scholarships for families, new equipment upgrades, and amazing shows and tours—like our recent intergenerational tour. Because of you, everyone in our community gets to experience the magic of circus!

Village Vibes Playgroup runs during term-time (according to the NSW school term calendar) on Mondays from 9.30am to 11.30am and is facilitated by a qualified Early Childhood Teacher. Playtime Playgroup offered by the Mullumbimby Uniting Church is run every Wednesday by church volunteers from 9.00am to 11.30am during NSW term-time. It is located on the corner of Dalley and Whian Streets and parking spots are available in front and along the side of the building.

It takes place in large hall to the left of the church and the volunteers set up the room with a large assortment of toys and activities for the children. 

There is an enclosed outdoor garden area at the front dotted with park benches and a shady pergola around the building.

The playgroup requests a gold coin donation per session but there are no joining fees and you can attend when it suits you.

Tintenbar Playgroup

Tintenbar playgroup is a volunteer based group that meets at Tintenbar Hall Wednesdays 9:30 - 11:30am  during NSW School terms.

They  create a fun and relaxing environment for parents and children and it is a great place for children to expand their social skills, make new friends and play in the beautiful hall with an open grassed area.

Parents can help themselves to tea and coffee provided and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

 Byron Bay Monthly Community Markets  temporarily moves to Main Beach Foreshore as of Sunday 6 July 2025 to accommodate the Byron Bay Drainage Upgrade Project in the town centre.

 Byron Bay Monthly Community Markets are being held around the heritage Railway Corridor and Railway Park. A section of Jonson Street is also closed to traffic as part of ‘Car Free Sunday’. This area will also be a hive of activity with room for everyone to browse and wander   

8am to 3pm on the 1st Sunday of each month in Summer | 8am to 2pm in winter.

Byron's original market since 1987, this monthly community market offers over 250 diverse stalls from the exotic to the organic, plus plenty of activities for the kids, beautiful displays of unique children's clothing & toys plus lush food and live music! Playtime Playgroup offered by the Mullumbimby Uniting Church is run every Wednesday by church volunteers from 9.00am to 11.30am during NSW term-time. It is located on the corner of Dalley and Whian Streets and parking spots are available in front and along the side of the building.

It takes place in large hall to the left of the church and the volunteers set up the room with a large assortment of toys and activities for the children. 

There is an enclosed outdoor garden area at the front dotted with park benches and a shady pergola around the building.

The playgroup requests a gold coin donation per session but there are no joining fees and you can attend when it suits you.

Construction of the new Alstonville Cultural Centre is expected to commence from early May 2026, with completion anticipated in mid-2027, subject to weather and construction conditions.

Tintenbar Playgroup

Tintenbar playgroup is a volunteer based group that meets at Tintenbar Hall Wednesdays 9:30 - 11:30am  during NSW School terms.

They  create a fun and relaxing environment for parents and children and it is a great place for children to expand their social skills, make new friends and play in the beautiful hall with an open grassed area.

Parents can help themselves to tea and coffee provided and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

It's just $3 per session | Playgroup NSW Membership (free to join) is also required.

Toddler Time will help young children transition from our Baby Bounce program into Storytime.

Aimed at toddlers aged twelve months to three years, these lively, interactive sessions will include lots of singing, dancing and clapping, plus one or two simple stories, but no craft.

Toddler Time is held at Lennox Head Library every Friday at 10.30am
